UK SAYS NO MORE Week
We can all make a difference when it comes to ending domestic violence and sexual assault.
In the UK, an estimated 4.5 million women and 2.2 million men have experienced domestic abuse since the age of 16, and nearly half a million adults are sexually assaulted in England and Wales each year (ONS). Domestic violence and sexual assault can affect anyone, of any age, gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity or religion.
During UK SAYS NO MORE Week (May 15th-21st 2017) we invite you to join us and others nationwide who are saying “NO MORE”. The theme of this year’s week of activism is #TogetherWeCan – as it is only by working together that we can begin to make real change.
We are working to raise vital awareness of issues around domestic violence and sexual assault, including promoting the work of organisations across the UK who are providing support.
Join us during UK SAYS NO MORE Week and let’s make a difference together.
