YWHP Joins UK SAYS NO MORE

We’re delighted at UK SAYS NO MORE to have YWHP on board with UK SAYS NO MORE as a campaign partner.

YWHP is a sexual abuse support service offering a range of specialist support to those who need it. Find out a little more about YWHP and the work they do:

YWHP Join UK SAYS NO MOREYWHP Sexual Abuse Support Service is based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, we are one of the only specialist services in the UK offering therapeutic provision and supported accommodation to young women aged 16-25yrs and their children, who have been affected by sexual abuse, sexual exploitation and domestic abuse.

How We Do it:

 Therapeutic Support and Practical Help: YWHP provides person centered, holistic support, based on individual needs. Together with specialist support workers, clients develop their support plans to enable them to achieve their personal goals, alongside therapeutic interventions and activities.

 A Safe Place to Live: YWHP provides accommodation and housing support to establish a safe and secure home, providing the crucial foundation for recovery.

 “Protect Yourself”: YWHP Protect Yourself Programme is a person centered, holistic approach to Personal Safety and Healthy RelationshipsOffering a flexible package of interventions, advice and guidance, Protect Yourself focuses on identifying and building personal strengths to develop and reinforce resilience.

 “Parents As First Teachers”: YWHP PAFT is a successful, research and evidenced based parenting support programme for “at risk” families. Flexible and personalised support helps each child to reach age-related expectations, potential & developmental milestones.
