Clear Thinking Scotland has evolved from the growing need for quality, caring and professional counselling and pastoral care for everyone. As a Community Interest Company, their goal is to offer and care and support to those in their community, for the community.

About Clear Thinking Scotland
All over Scotland, people are in need of someone to talk to and sometimes, a problem or issue is too great or personal for friends and family to help. We have identified the need for an affordable counselling and pastoral care service for the local community. That is why we at Clear Thinking Scotland have a variety of talking and listening therapy services available to help you.
We work with a strong Christian Ethos, and our “Clear Thinking” focus is providing quality, professional care and support for our clients throughout Glasgow and West Central Scotland.
Our service allows individuals who have experienced some sort of stressful, painful or challenging episode in their lives to access appropriate community counselling or therapies, with the intention of supporting them to regain their independence and reintegrate back into their families, friends and the wider community.
All of our services are personal and individually tailored to your needs, irrespective of your personal beliefs. Remember – no problem is too great, no issue is too small.
Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister of Scotland, discussed the current state of mental health provision in Scotland and learnt about the services Clear Thinking Scotland are providing for the people of Glasgow & Lanarkshire.
Our Services
Clear Thinking Scotland provide a wide range of counselling, pastoral and training services to those in the Glasgow, Kilsyth and Cumbernauld areas.
In association with the Institute of Counselling and Pastoral Care UK, we are able to offer tailor made programmes of Counselling and/or Pastoral Care training entitled “The Good Shepherd”.
Our training programme will allow 5 people from the Gorbals area of Glasgow to undergo 6 months of ‘Counselling Skills Training’, enabling them to develop and engage in personal growth, but also give back to community via a legacy of care, compassion and training.
The hope is that following on from training, the students will be ‘good shepherds’ and become a listening ear for anyone in the community.
