#GivingTuesday

We’re so pleased to welcome #GivingTuesday as a partner of the UK SAYS NO MORE campaign.

As the 2016 #GivingTuesday falls on November 29th, the #GivingTuesday team are doing some brilliant work to encourage both organisations and individuals to do good stuff for good causes. Find out more about them:

What is #GivingTuesday?

#GivingTuesday is the day to do good stuff for charity, straight after Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

How does it work?

We’re asking you to do good stuff for your favourite charity or cause this #GivingTuesday.

Whether you bake good stuff, make good stuff, donate good stuff, tweet good stuff or even say good stuff ‐ whatever you do, we want you to do good stuff for charity this #GivingTuesday.

You’ll be joining thousands of people in the UK in committing to doing good stuff all on the same day, including some of the UK’s biggest brands, charities and celebrities.

History

We brought #GivingTuesday to the UK two years ago and last year we raised £6,000 a minute for UK charities and broke the world record for most amount of money donated online in 24 hours! #GivingTuesday now runs in over 70 countries around the world including the US, Canada, Germany, Spain, Singapore, Australia and Brazil.

Stay tuned…

The day begins with Power Hour at the BT, where #GivingTuesday have invited UK SAYS NO MORE to attend for a celebratory morning, along with other organisations who have joined #GivingTuesday. Stay tuned on our social media where we’ll be posting live on the day!

Join our Thunderclap for the day:
