About Three Cs
Three Cs is a person-centred, inclusive organisation for people with learning disabilities and/or mental health challenges. Our vision, which was shaped with the involvement of the people we support is “all of us living life to the full and valued by our communities”.
We support people to control and choose their own lives and contribute to the community as equal citizens. We focus on people’s strengths and interests to build confidence, skills and independence. We promote social inclusion, including social activities, learning paid jobs and volunteering.
We provide a range of person-centred support services to people in Southwark, Lewisham, Greenwich, Newham and Redbridge. Our overall ‘Support for Living’ programme is delivered in three ways. This includes our Supported Living service, Community Support service which provides people with tailored support through personal budgets and our Social Inclusion and Day Services.
Three Cs actively promotes social inclusion across all three services. Social inclusion activities and projects include peer-led social groups, a drama group; an allotment project and a volunteering and employment project which supports people to gain vital work skills and ultimately to obtain paid employment with an external employer and/or within Three Cs’ Employment Pool.
We involve the people we support as trustees on Three Cs’ Board, as members of our Social Inclusion Taskforce, on staff recruitment panels, as members of our Customer Journey Team to review quality and complaints and as trainers/presenters at staff induction and training.
