UK SAYS NO MORE Week (May 21-27) is a time for everyone – individuals, non-profit and corporate organisations, communities and groups across the UK – to unite and keep the conversation going around domestic abuse and sexual violence.

This year, the theme is #WhatICanDo – because each one of us can play a significant role in preventing domestic and sexual violence, promoting equality and respect in our communities, schools, universities and workplaces.

Here’s what you can do to help during UK SAYS NO MORE Week:

Join the conversation by asking yourself what you can do to help end domestic abuse and sexual violence. use the hashtag #WhatICanDo to help spread the conversation nationwide and invite friend and family to share what they are doing. You can find ideas and images to use on social media in the UK SAYS NO MORE Week Toolkit!

Print the UK SAYS NO MORE posters use them to raise awareness during the week, whether it be putting them up at work, school, university, or in your local community. Share information such as our Learn pages and let friends and family know about the support available such as the Bright Sky app.

Get your NO MORE pin – wearing it will spark conversations about domestic violence and sexual assault.

Hold an event to raise funds and/or awareness during the week. Not sure what to do? Get ideas in the UK SAYS NO MORE Week Toolkit, such as fundraising events, film screenings and ways to get your university or school engaged.
